About Peer Tutoring
Peer Tutoring was established by TTUHSC School of Medicine Class
of 2000 students in order to provide medical students with a venue
of displaying and distributing useful study aids. As a consequence
of the program and its associated website, students in the medical
school can benefit from the efforts of their current peers as well
as from students from years past.
Peer Tutoring also functions increasingly as an organizational
body for student-to-student tutorials in the basic science years.
Peer Tutoring's tutorials and seminars aid students in the understanding
of difficult subject areas and serve as helpful reviews for the
USMLE.
