SNMA is the nation's oldest and largest student organization focused on the needs and concerns of minority medical students. Our national agenda is dedicated to ensuring that medical education and services are culturally sensitive to the needs of diverse populations; and, in that spirit, we work hard to increase the number of minority students entering and completing medical school. Our chapter upholds the national charge in many ways. We work hard to create opportunities for community engagement and offer many ways for our members to get involved.
Our chapter is affiliated with the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center School of Medicine (TTUHSC SOM).
