Regent's Message

The foundation of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity is based on Brotherhood. We pride ourselves in supporting each other academically, professionally, and socially. Being a Brother in Kappa Psi is a wonderful way to get involved in the pharmacy profession while making friendships that will last a lifetime.

Welcome to the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy. Since you have chosen to become a prospective practitioner of the time-honored profession of Pharmacy, it is important that you further develop your person as well as your knowledge. The Delta Pi Chapter of Kappa Psi was founded in 1997. Since then we have had a strong history of commitment to leadership, community service, and fun times too.

Brothers,

We have a very exciting year ahead of us. It gives me immense pleasure to announce the launch of our new Delta Pi newsletter, and our newly revamped website. We hope that these new forums will help provide better communication among all the Brothers of Delta Pi, on the many campuses of Texas Tech School of Pharmacy.

I am also proud to say that we have had one of the largest pledge classes in Delta Pi history. This semester we are working very hard to exemplify the four principles we stand for and which set us apart – Industry, Sobriety, Fellowship and High Ideals.

Community Medical School, Gold’s Gym Health Fair, the annual Halloween party, “Be the Match” Registry Drive, paintball – we have a lot of events ahead of us! I will let the officers tell you more about what they have planned for all of us, but I can say that I am very excited to be a part of it!

This year, the Executive Committee decided that we would focus on “Leadership” and “Community.” I want to thank all of our Brothers who jumped on board. It is your involvement and dedication to this Brotherhood that makes us such a strong organization. So, let’s continue the great work that the Delta Pi Brothers before us have started – “to illuminate the dark and continuously gain knowledge”.

Fraternally,

Kevin Aloysius
