2011 Pledges
The Gamma Eta Chapter is extremely pleased to announc the addition of 19 Brothers. The initiation took place in Abilene, TX at the SOP on October 22, 2011. Several Brothers from the Beta Rho Chapter located in Amarillo, TX were present to help with the initiation.
Our new Brothers have definitely helped amp up the PDC spirit on campus. During the fall semester, the pledge class helped raised $859 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital by creating a flat-screen TV and blu-ray player raffle. We have also had our annual DIabetes Awareness Healthfair, participated in the 1st ever Medication Cleanout in Abilene, conducted a campus clothing drive for the Salvation Army and recently sponsored 20 Angels for the Salvation Army Angel Tree program.
With the new pledge class, we were able to nearly double our numbers in our Chapter. This has shown all the great work the Membership and Recruitment Committee has put forward this year, and we are extremely excited to see what our new Brothers will complete the rest of the year!
