Government
for Pharmacy, Government for StudentsWelcome to the home of your student government for Pharmacy. We are here as your student representatives to the School, faculty, administration, and University. Welcome to the homepage of the School of Pharmacy Student Government (PharmSG).
Components of PharmSG:
Pharmacy Student Government consists of the Pharmacy Student
Senate that represents the entire School of Pharmacy (SOP), and
two SOP regional student senates for the Abilene and Dallas
campuses. There is currently no SOP regional student senate for the
Lubbock senate. Members of the SOP regional student senates are
appointed independently of the Pharmacy Student Senate. The
authority of Pharmacy Student Government is autonomous of and
differs from that of the TTUHSC Student Senate, TTUHSC regional
student senates, and student senates for other students in the
different Schools. Appointment: Members of the Pharmacy Student Senate are appointed to a 1-year term at the end of each spring semester by the various student organizations and student groups for the next academic year. Members also serve on several School of Pharmacy committees to represent the views and interests of students and act as liaisons between faculty and administration. To see who sits on these committees. Questions and Issues for deliberation by PharmSG: Your Texas Tech experience is as much as you want to make it! We hope that this page serves as a valuable resource to you. If you have any questions you would like to have answered or issues that you feel need to be brought to the Student Senate's attention, please go to the Members page and email the Student Senate President so that it can be discussed at our future meetings. You can find members' email addresses by utilizing Texas Tech Search. Website typos / comments / suggestions: Email James Lee at james.c.lee@tthsc.edu. |
